Join us at the home of Christina Rusnak in Northeast Portland for an intimate concert featuring Jasnam Daya Singh, one of Portland’s most dynamic compositional voices. Jasnam’s newest composition, Ektah: The Unity Project is a suite of music celebrating the idea that “unity is not a luxury or something we concern ourselves with when everything else is taken care of,” but a necessary condition for society. This is a special opportunity to hear a preview of this music before we give the world premiere in Springfield, OR and in Portland at the Montavilla Jazz Festival later in August.
