We’re happy to release the fourth album on PJCE Records today, April 15. Fortunately it has nothing to do with taxes. It will, hopefully, help you forget about your taxes! The band is Operation Northwoods featuring PJCE Records directors Andrew Oliver on piano and Dan Duval on guitar alongside some friends from New York, Doug Detrick on trumpet and Hashem Assadullahi on saxes. It was recorded in 2 sessions spaced (coincidentally) exactly two years apart and features some beautiful chamber jazz (sans bass and drums) with a focus on timbre and space.
