We’re looking forward to a busy 2013 with a new release approximately each month from the many great jazz composers and improvising musicians in Portland. We have a digital only “pre-release” up now from our recent fundraising concert, a performance by the PJCE Sextet, the core group of the 12-person ensemble.
Coming next is a release by a collective group featuring Tom “Euge” Goicoechea on drums, Jon Shaw on bass, Dan Duval on guitar, Willie Matheis on sax and Thomas Barber on trumpet. We’ll be recording it on Nov 19 and hope to have it ready to sell at our Dec. 15 PJCE Concert! More coming soon…
